I grew up on a farm near Barrhead, and from a young age, I knew I wanted to be a Vet Tech. I spent most weekends and summers volunteering at a local vet clinic, which solidified my passion for the field. In 2006, I graduated with an Animal Health Technology diploma from NAIT's Fairview campus. Shortly after, I started working at Onoway Vet Clinic, where I've been ever since.
I absolutely love working in a rural mixed animal practice—no two days are ever the same with the variety of animals we see.
Outside of work, I enjoy baking, camping, and spending time with my family. I also have a flock of sheep, two cats named Simba and Kiara, and a dog named Chloe.
